What does EPOG stand for?
EPOG means the “Enjoyable Pain of Growth” and refers to the journey of wholeheartedly striving towards a dream. Our definition of “dream” isn’t about a self-serving fantasy or an unchallenged life, but rather a north star that both inspires and requires a person to actualize their potential. Embedded in our name is the reality that pain is a natural and necessary part of the growth process and the fact that a worthwhile aim can ultimately make the journey enjoyable.
We believe that everybody has a dream planted inside of them that is worth cultivating. While dreams are dispersed evenly, we acknowledge that opportunity isn’t. Even in the land of the free, the weeds of injustice, poverty, and hopelessness stifle the capacity of millions of people to realize their potential.
